Posted April 6, 2007 * Comments(0)

Panasonic’s Poly Carbonmonofluoride (BR) lithium cells have provided long lasting power to measuring, data acquisition, identification (RFID), and safety devices. This BR lithium power and reliability is now available in a 1/2AA size.

Panasonic’s BR1/2AA provides reliable power at extreme operating temperatures from -40°C to 100°C. Because of its extreme temperature tolerance, low self discharge rate, and compact design, the BR1/2AA cells are ideal for a variety of tough field applications: including meter monitoring, RFID, and electronic toll collection.

Features:

  • High Capacity: 1000 mAH
  • Low Self Discharge: 0.5% per Year at 20°C/60%RH
  • Extreme Operating Temperature: -40°C to 100°C
  • Virtually Zero Failure Rate
  • Compact 1/2AA size
  • No passivation layer
  • Constant Discharge Voltage
  • Available in 2 and 3 pin versions

Applications

  • Wireless Meters
  • Electronic Toll Collection (ETC)
  • RFID
  • Emergency/Safety Devices
