Nokia E65

The Nokia E65 is very stylish and ideally suited for business needs and it has a number of connectivity aspects to it that include the 3G as also Wi-Fi. However, it is bundled with mono headset that takes away some of the enjoyment and there is also lacking front camera which does not allow you to make video calls and the barebones camera that is present does not have the best of image quality. All said and done, the Nokia E65 does have quite a bit of connectivity that will surely end up attracting many mobile phone users who are looking for something extra from their phones.

The Nokia E65 is more than a good looking mobile phone and despite its sexy image it does pack much to cheer about and it would be well worth first taking a look at its design. This unit comes with a low weight that is not more than one hundred fifteen grams which makes it possible to easily store it in a shirt pocket and it has a battery, connection cable, HS-5 headset that is mono unfortunately though there is travel charger and a much needed 256 MB microSD card and a carrying pouch that is soft to the feel.

The screen size is barely 2.2 inches and it has 240×240 pixels that can show up sixteen million colors and the whole thing does not cause any irritation to the eyes even when viewing under extreme sunshine. However, the two mega pixel camera does not come with reflecting mirror and there is also no flash unit which does not make self portraiture very easy.

When you hold the Nokia E65, there is certain solidity to the sliding mechanism and inside you will find a 3×4 keypad and typing with one hand is quite easy though you do have to stretch the thumb to reach the bottommost row.

The features that are present in the Nokia E65 include the Series 60 third edition operating system and you will also get software such as QuickOffice and also Team Suite that are pre-installed. So, using Nokia Team Suite it is possible for you to arrange groups of individuals into teams which allow you to call and also send text messages the entire teams in one go. The connectivity is excellent and the quadband GSM, 3G, Wi-Fi, infrared as well as Bluetooth 1.2 are testimony to that, and you can also use your Nokia E65 as a modem when you connect it with a computer that is compatible with it, and you also get Mobile VPN so that you can connect to corporate intranets and also to services through IPsec technology.

The next thing you must be wondering about is how the Nokia E65 performs. Well, when you take into account its relatively inexpensive three hundred and forty-eight dollar price tag and the basic functions that this unit has, you may be quite satisfied, though not exactly over the moon about it. You get decent call quality and video playback through RealPlayer (if you have it on your unit) is quite OK as well. In addition, you can get six hours of talk time as well as eleven days on standby - together on GSM networks.

All in all, it is a handy mobile phone solution that gives satisfaction though it’s nothing very overwhelming, it has to be said.
